Hump Day!!!

Today, I am half way done with nursing school! 240 days down and only 239 more to go! Don't get me wrong, I love nursing...but the school part is pretty crazy! Here is my dorky "countdown to when I graduate" calendar. Everyday, I get to put a star up and it makes me very, very happy because I feel like I deserve a star everyday that I make it through nursing school!
Here's me and my special nursing school buddy Ashley. Bonding through adversity creates great friendships!

This is my clinical group in front of St. Joseph's Hospital. The lady in the white coat is my instructor Tilly and I LOVE her! She is one of those teachers I'll remember forever.

Diana trying to soak in some info!

This is my pal Krystle. She evaded getting her picture taken in scrubs so I guess she gets a more glamorous picture on the blog today.

Some more great friends...starting at the left...Danielle, say moi, Kohree, Lucinda, Amy and Kristain.

When Lindsey is napping, this is were you find me. It's my little study nook complete with a sweet kitty that always sits on my lap and purrs while I hit the books.

I think the hardest part of being in school is not being with my little angel! We have been really lucky that Elliot has been able to watch her while he works from home tho and I still get to come home and snuggle with her after a long day at school!

Elliot took these pictures of his two exhausted girls snuggling in front of the TV. I don't think there is a better way to unwind than to cuddle with Miss Linds.

School has been an adventure so far. It's amazing how much there is to learn about the human body...everything from learning what's in your blood to learning how to put an IV in! It's kinda funny cuz I have turned into quite a hypochondriac since I started studying all the many, many things that can go wrong with our bodies! I have self diagnosed myself with diabetes, breast cancer, skin cancer, hypoventilation, a brain tumor, heart murmur, hyperthyroidism, diverticulitis, anemia and a few mental disorders. No worries tho, I'm told most nursing students experience this and I have also been to the doctor many, many times to double check! Anyways, the first half of nursing school has gone by so fast and I'm sure the second half will be done before I know it! December graduation...here I come!

Happy hump day. I'm laughing as I write the word hump.

Oh, and you can't fool me. I know that you faked breast cancer so you could get a breast exam.

xoxo. congrats - you can be my nurse any day.

I am a bit behind the times, but happy hump day. I really enjoyed reading about your experiences in nursing school. You and your peers look so cute in scrubs!
