Happy Birthday Lindsey!

Lindsey is three years old now! She had a really fun birthday. It started with her favorite food, french toast, and opening presents from Mommy and Daddy.

It's about time we got a Princess Jasmine doll. Then these cute matching sisters went to church. I have one picture with Lindsey smiling and one with Ashley smiling. I have a feeling I will be getting a lot of pictures like that.

We had a great time partying with family. Here is some footage of the princess castle piƱata. We were lucky no one got hurt. Especially since one of Lindsey's cousins tried to take one of her toys while she was holding a bat.

Lindsey got tons of presents. Everyone spoiled this little girl! She is really into horses and she got lots of them. She has had her eye on this little white filly for a while.
Hanging out with "Big White Horsey."
Uh oh...be careful Sarah!I guess Sarah didn't want the horse, she just wanted to tickle Lindsey. We missed Warren, Kelli, Blake, Clayton and Bear at the party. They made Lindsey a cute birthday message though and it was good to hear their voices!

The Princess Festival

Thanksgiving Point hosted a Princess Festival and I just couldn't pass it up! They had stations with different fairy tale princesses and lots of girly activities. I thought it would be a fun birthday activity for Linds since her B-day is on a Sunday. I thought wrong! She really didn't want to meet any of the princesses or participate in any of the dancing, face painting, hair doing, crafts, sprinkling of fairy dust, ect..ect. It takes Lindsey a long time to warm up to people and I guess actors dressed as princesses are no exception!

She spent most of the day clinging to her Grandma. Who knew Princess Festivals were not for the light hearted.

There's a smile. I think it's cuz she knows she looks cuter than the girl next to her. He he he!
I love my little princesses
Lindsey really liked Cinderella's coach. She loves anything that involves horses!
Eventually, Lindsey had enough of her Mommy trying to get her to talk to and get pictures with all the different princesses. She got in the stroller and wasn't coming out.
So I used my baby to get pictures with a few princesses. Here's Rapunzel.
And Sleeping Beauty.
Lindsey is such a rascal. It was pretty frustrating that she didn't have fun at the festival because I was so excited for it! Oh well, I guess she plays the role of a spoiled little princess pretty well!

Ashley's Blessing Day

Elliot blessed our sweet baby Ashley yesterday.

She is really congested with a head cold and we were worried she would scream through the whole thing, but she was an angel as usual.

I love her from her squishy little face...
To her chunky monkey legs!
We had a lot of people come to see Ashley's blessing and we really appreciate everyone showing their support and love for our family. Here is Ashley with Aunt Adriane.
Lindsey snuggling her Grandma.

Welcome to the girl party!!!

Happy baby with her Daddy. Elliot gave her a beautiful blessing.

Hugging Mommy! She doesn't look to happy about it though...hmmm.

Carol, Brady, Natalie, Marcus, Turner, Saffron and Tyler. This picture's a little blurry but I had to include this fun group as guests!

Lindsey Got A Goat

Here she is picking out her little goat. Right after I took this picture she gave one of the goats a great big kiss on the mouth...so gross, but a little bit cute too.

We got a little black and white pygmy goat and we named him Guster (Gus for short). Lindsey is baby talking to Gus and telling him how much she loves him.
It was pretty traumatic when we took the poor little guy away from his mother. He's only as old as Ashley after all. He cried and she cried. I almost cried and I assured the poor mother goat that I would take good care of him and that he wasn't going to be eaten. When we got the little guy home, he was still crying. He cried all day and all night. So I thought may be he needed and friend and put the dogs in the pen with him. I was right! Gus instantly warmed up to Thor and now Thor is his make shift Mommy. Gus follows him around everywhere and even snuggles with him every chance he gets. So cute!

He is still looking for his mother though. His mother was black and white and I think Gus thought Lindsey's toy horse might be her. When he saw the horse he got pretty excited and wanted to come in to see her.

Are you my Mother? Pretty much anything black and white catches his eye.

Good thing he has Thor.

Here is some footage of Gus. The first 20 seconds is of the first day he was here. He was pretty sad and scared and Lindsey and I couldn't catch him even though we chased him all morning. Who knew goats were so fast! The second part is his second day with us. He warmed up to Lindsey enough to let her pet him. The last part is his third day. He has found his niche with our doggies and has really warmed up to us too. He is going to be a great addition to our little zoo!

A Post for Lindsey

Lindsey doesn't pay a whole lot of attention to Ashley. But when she does, she is so sweet and tender. She talks to her in a soft little baby voice and brings her a blanket and binki. They are such cute sisters!

Lindsey is getting so big and smart. She played a pretty good trick on her Mommy the other day. She was taking a bubble bath (so I couldn't see what was going on under those bubbles) and she told me she pooped in the bath. I immediately was extremely grossed out, pulled her out of the bath, started to drain the bath and began to dread having to clean poop out of the bath. Then, Lindsey started giggling like crazy and said, "Just teasing Mommy!" Sure enough, she was teasing me...there was no poop in the bath. I wonder where she got such a weird sense of humor from?!?
She loves animals so much. Here she is watching a movie with Harry. She has figured out that if she pets them gently, they love her too! Harry was purring so loud when I took this picture.

What a cute pair! Harry is such a good cat.
