Face to face with fear

As many of you know, I have a weird phobia of ducks/geese. In my opinion, those beady little eyes and sharp beaks are the stuff nightmares are made of. Unfortunately, there are tons of ducks and geese at the park where I like to run and they are so aggressive. They line up on the sidewalk and guard it so you can't get by them. I never walk near them, but Kelli has told me she has to push them out of the way with her stroller to get by. Pretty crazy. Anyways, I was running this morning and this very goose attacked me.

I took these pictures with my camera phone after the initial attack. Here they are guarding the sidewalk.

I was too busy running away to film them chasing me, but here is something I found on YouTube to give you an idea of what it would be like to be attacked by a goose.

Elliot has requested I clarify that he loves ducks and does not endorse this blog post.

I am totally the same way! You forgot about seagulls--those are the worst kind! They will literally take food out of your mouth those rascals! Also, i was attacked by one with a bloody eye while brady and I were on a picnic. No lie.
