In my opinion, the only thing better than babies and Christmas is pictures of babies and Christmas.

We went to good old Utah for a little Christmas vacation. Good times! Some highlights were lots of yummy food (prime rib and Christmas morning rolls...need I say more), seeing "A Christmas Carol" at the Hale Theater, a beautiful white Christmas and getting spoiled rotten by our family (as usual!) Unfortunately, all three of us have been sickies, but it has still been great to see friends and family. As the title of this blog points out, I took a lot of pictures of my Christmas baby and here are just a few...
I LOVE her snow hat. It's a good thing Grandma got it for her because it snowed tons while we were there! Linds loved to watch the snow as it fell.
Here is my other Christmas baby! Poor little Shiloh had to spend a lot of time in her cage. We had a lot of adventures with our puppy this past week. A few of them would have been great scenes in the movie "Marley and Me!" But look at this little sweety snooz'in! Ohhhhh!

She hated to go back in her cage and this is a great picture of me trying to push her in and her trying to escape!
Elliot took Keith and me bobsledding at the Olympic Park in Park City. It was crazy fun! Here is us before...
And after! It was an intense ride. It only lasted 55 seconds, but we went 80 miles an hour down the track with 5 G's pushing down on us! I have bruises on my arms and legs from all that pressure but it was well worth it!
We rode in the red one
I caught Elliot sleeping with another woman. Note that he took the time to tuck that little kitty in and everything. Pretty cute.
We tried to get a good first Christmas picture of Miss Lindsey smiling but we weren't quite succussful! Her are some of our failed attempts! (The one below is not bad, but she could do better!)

Chill'in with Far Far.
Snuggling with her first teddy bear
Opening prezzies!
Santa spoiled this girl! Look at her face...she's like "this is awesome!"
She would try to open the presents, but usually ended up just sucking on them.

The End.

Ho Ho Ho

Sometimes it's hard to get into the Christmas spirit when it's so warm and sunny outside. So here are some things that have helped us get into the Christmas swing of things this year! Let's begin with our Christmas cat climbing in the Christmas tree! She can get all the way up to the star. We are so proud of her. Here is the Lignell family's annual gingerbread house. She's a beaut isn't she.
Our Christmas puppy! OHHHHH!
Grandma Jan gave us this ornament last year and it is our favorite! We have a special place in our hearts for baby seals.

Here is our ENORMOUS tree! We inherited it this year and I was very surprised when I discovered it was 7 1/2 feet tall and very full! For it to fit in our apartment, I couldn't put the top portion of the tree up and I had to move our dining room table into the family room so our dining room became our tree room. Despite it's massiveness, I love it and think it is very beautiful!

I felt crafty and personalized our stockings this year. No confusing who's stocking treats belong to who this year.
We went to the Mesa Temple's Christmas lights on Friday. It was very beautiful and fun! We bundled up because I didn't think about how it would still be almost 60 degrees outside! I guess I'm just used to freezing my tail end off when I go look at the SLC temple lights!
Lindsey thought the lights were amazing!

Wow...

She loves snuggling with her Daddy
So magical...

A post admitting I shouldn't let Disney cartoons influence me so much

The past couple weeks Elliot has really wanted to get dog, but I didn't want to because I thought two cats and a baby were plenty for the time being. Then, we went to see the Disney Movie Bolt with our nieces and nephews. It was the cutest movie ever and the dog in it was so darling! That's right, I actually let an animated dog weaken my resolve. Here is a trailer of the movie so you can get a little taste of just how cute little Bolt is.

So one of Elliot's tactics to persuade me to get a dog is to look for cute pictures of puppies and then force me to look at them. (He plays dirty doesn't he) So when he showed me this picture of a cute little white shepherd/husky mix that looks just like Bolt, how was I supposed to say no!

Ok, Ok, I can't put all the blame on Elliot! When he showed me her picture I was the one that insisted on calling about her and driving 40 minutes just to go look at her. And I fell in love!

So we got her and she is such a sweetie! Her name is Meg Griffin Lignell. She is very gentle and snuggley. In fact, she thinks she is a lap dog! Harry LOVES her. He thinks she is pretty interesting.

Ohhhh...a boy and his dog.

She is very smart and great with Lindsey too!

And in case your thinking, why in the world would they get such a big dog when they live in an apartment...WE BOUGHT THIS HOUSE!!! It is in Phoenix and we close on it in a few weeks! We can't wait to move in!

Thanksgiving!

We went to Utah for Thanksgiving this year! This is Lindsey's cute Thanksgiving dress. I love dressing her up!
All three of the baby cousins were together this Thanksgiving! So of course we had to put them in matching shirts and bows and take about 50 pictures of them! They are such cute little girls! (Courtney is on the left, Sarah is on the right!)
These little girlys are so much fun!
My cute family!
Lindsey and her darling cousin Natalie.
Here are all my beautiful sister in laws! Kelli announced that she is pregnant!!! I'm predicting she is going to have another girl to add to the bunch!
Lindsey was so happy and smiley for this Utah trip! She has definitely gotten over her fear of unfamiliar faces.

Here's Keith, Mom and Dad on their way to the BYU/Utah game. Go Utes!
Grandma got Lindsey a jumper and this is her first try. She didn't bounce much, but she still had fun! I'm sure she'll get the hang of it eventually.
Here's Lindsey about to go out around town wearing shoes for the first time
It tuckered her out!
