Flowers, Princesses and Bunnies

What is better and more girly than playing princess dress up? Throw a few baby bunnies in there!
Lindsey and Turner...cutest little buddies ever!
I met up with Saffron and Natalie at the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. It was absolutely beautiful.

We loved it!

Our First Family Moab Trip

We went to Moab last weekend and had so much fun! It was Lindsey and I's first jeeping trip in Moab and we loved it! We left little Ashley behind with my parents. They were so nice to watch her but we really missed that little cutie.  She can come on the next trip!
Lindsey playing in the sand at sand dunes arch.
Elliot in his element.
How do children sleep so well when they are bouncing around on bumpy roads?  I'll never understand it.
Lindsey's new little friend Alexa caught a lizard.  Linds was pretty excited.
Elliot does a great job "rigging" his explorer so it can climb over anything.  He got a hole in his radiator and the right replacement radiator was not to be found in Moab.  So he just jimmy rigged it to work.  He is so funny and really is an amazing mechanic.
Chalk and an endless rock canvas=a happy, busy Lindsey.
Elliot doing a crazy, slippery trail.
Our little Moab girl.
Lindsey is such a good little hiker.
Double Arch
Great picture, but I wish Ashley was in it.  She probably had more fun at Grandpa and Grandmas though!  Camping with babies is tough.
We met up with Josh, Kate and Julian vanRij.  We always have so much fun on road trips them.  Their little guy had a really rough night but they were still up for lots of Moab adventures the next day.  Hopefully when Julian gets a little older and figures out how great camping is we can do it again!
Daddy/daughter hike to sit on double arch.
Look at that blue sky!  The weather was beautiful and perfect.

Just chill'in in the explorer eating a snickers bar.  I think she's live'in the dream!
Great hug.
Our little rock climber.
We hiked up to Delicate arch and it was so beautiful. It was a little bit harder of a hike so Elliot carried Linds the whole way up.  She is lucky her Daddy is so strong!

Baby Bunnies are so Cuuuuute!

We got two baby bunnies a couple weeks ago!  They are sooooo adorable and fun. Lindsey's bunny is white and black and she named her Aurora.  My bunny is all black and I named her Precious.

"We want to hold the bunnies all the time!"

Ashley isn't too interested in the bunnies yet.  Every once in a while she will grab them though and we'll have to pry the poor baby rabbit from her baby vice grip!

From  the moment Lindsey wakes up to the moment she goes to sleep she has bunnies on her mind.  Elliot and I have been woken up a couple times by the feel of rabbit whiskers on our cheeks when she shoves them in our face to give them good morning kisses.  It is an adorable way to wake up! Here's Lindsey feeding Aurora an apple slice.  She takes very good care of her little babies.

Watching TV with Aurora.

And more bunny snuggling.

We are really having fun with our new pets! We bought them from a lady in Lehi with 7 daughters.  The bunny's mother rejected them so one of the little girls took care of them and hand fed them from the day they were born. So these bunnies are super tame and sweet!  When we came to pick them up, all 7 of the daughters came to the door and started telling Lindsey how lucky she was to get a baby bunny, asked her if she was excited and gave her hugs.  Lindsey was on cloud 9 and it made the experience that much more exciting and cute!  There were 6 bunnies and we were having a hard time deciding which bunny to choose.  I asked Lindsey "how will we ever choose which 2 bunnies to take home?"  She smiled and whispered, "let's get 3!"

Happy Easter!

I love matching Easter dresses! So cute. These sisters had a really fun Easter. We played with our Easter bunny presents, had an Easter egg hunt and went to Grandpa and Grandma's for a delicious Easter dinner and another Easter egg hunt!
Lindsey is an "eggs-cellent" egg hunter and she got so much candy. Lindsey even got her first dollar bill. Pretty special. My Dad hid 72 eggs for her to find at his house. So funny! She was in heaven though.

Ashley had fun with all the Easter eggs too!
Here's their Easter bunny gifts.

Camping

We went camping/jeeping this weekend! It was fun...freezing cold...but fun! We went with Uncle Alex, Uncle Adam, Aunt Amber, Brooke, Ethan and Sarah. There was lots of hot chocolate, smores and snuggl'in by the fire. Lindsey was scared to sit by the fire because when she felt the heat of it on her face, she thought it was burning her. Poor baby. It was so cold that she had to sit by the fire and after lots of whining, she finally got used to it.
It was little Ashley's first time jeeping and camping. She was a great little camper!

Ashley's First Birthday

Here's my little one year old! Ashley had a great first birthday. We had a lot of fun celebrating with just the four of us.
My little ladies.

Ashley got lots of fun toys for her birthday. She loves them! She can tell they are HER toys and growls/yells at Lindsey whenever she tries to play with them. I think Ashley's excited to have some toys of her own.

This baby loves to eat! I made her Lasagna for her birthday dinner. Yum, yum. And it's so fun to get it everywhere too!
My cake decorating skillz need some work! It did the job though.
Frosting is the best!
The day before her b-day, Ashley had a cousin party! There was lots of busy kids for her to watch. This baby cannot wait to play with the big kids.

Jamaican Me Crazy Mon

Elliot was in Jamaica the past week for work. So cool! One of the really neat aspects of Elliot's job is he gets to meet people from all over the world. He went out there to install a Pearson program, Success Maker, in a bunch of schools out there. Here is one classroom he was in.
He was very busy the whole time he was there, but he managed to squeeze a little bit of fun in. He is in front of the Dunn Waterfalls. Looks like fun!
Ahhh...the beach.
Elliot saw a pig give birth to three piglets in the middle of a high school. Kinda random. They offered him one of the piglets and I am very happy that he turned it down!
We sure missed him. He brought us home some great presents though! We are so spoiled to have him work from home that whenever he goes out of town it gets pretty lonely around the house. Your girls love you Elliot!
