Snow!

We finally got enough snow to turn our backyard into a winter wonderland. Yay! Now spring can come and I will be happy.
Lindsey was so excited to play in the snow. We taught her to catch snowflakes in her mouth, make snow angels, have a snowball fight and make a snowman. We had a lot of fun.
Lindsey liked holding the snowman's hand. She didn't want to wear her gloves so she learned it's not fun to have cold hands. She also learned not to eat yellow snow...two valuable life lessons. Nothing better than snuggling with a sweet, white dog on a cold, snowy day.
Nothing better except Easy Mac. Ashley LOVES Easy Mac even more than her sister. And she has a lot of fun eating it too.

Valentines Day + A Few Random Pics

Here's all three of my Valentines. When I came home from work last Friday, this is what I found. So cute. Apparently playing all day with Daddy is exhausting for everyone involved.
Elliot and I had a nice date night planned for our V day, but Ashley got sick so we had to cancel our plans. Elliot still made the evening special by helping a lot with the kids, buying me flowers, lots of chocolate, Cafe Rio and a snuggly movie night. Who needs a fancy date when you have such a great husband? I'm so thankful I have such an amazing Valentine!
Just for the record, Ashley is my sunshine!!! Poor sick baby. I love her to pieces.
The other day, while I was doing my makeup, the girls disappeared. I knew they weren't far though because I could hear all sorts of giggling. I found them hiding in this cabinet.
Where Lindsey was doing Ashley's makeup and putting a necklace on her. These sisters!

Family Forest Photos

My cute friend Tiffany is starting a photography business and volunteered to take pictures of our family. Free family pictures...yes please! She did an amazing job.

These two (above and below) are my favorites!

We went up American Fork Canyon for the pictures so it was pretty cold. Lindsey was wrapped up in this blanket in between photo shoots. She was telling me how cold she was in this pic.
This is her "I'm sorry you're cold but I am going to make you take lots more pictures anyway" kiss. Tender.
