So here is the story of our whirlwind move to Utah! Elliot found out that he could keep his job and work from home in Utah. So we started getting the house ready to rent and looked around in Utah to try to find a place that would rent to a family who didn't want to sign a long lease and had five pets. We thought it would take months to get those two things lined up...but we were wrong! We learned our awesome double wide trailer was available so I advertised that our house was for rent and found a great renter within 24 hours. The renter needed the house in the next few days so we decided we were actually going move on a Friday night and by Saturday night Elliot and I (mostly Elliot) had packed up our house, loaded it into a moving truck and was driving to Utah! Unfortunately, while we were finishing loading up the moving truck we found out our trailer had a major water pipe burst and was no longer available. There was no turning back at that point though and lucky for us my parents are crazy enough to take all 8 1/2 of us. I have been wanting to leave Arizona for so long and I am so happy that we moved! There are a few things I'm really going to miss though. One of them is our cute little house. Even though it turned out to be in an awfull, ghetto neighborhood I really loved the house and it will always be our first home!

Bye bye cute little house!
The most difficult thing to leave by far was this sweet family. We moved down to AZ together over 4 years ago and have had some really great times together. Kelli is one of my closest friends and I truly think of her as my sister. We did almost everything together and I miss her so much. I really hope they decide to move to Utah ASAP!

Kelli helped us
sooooo much to get the house packed and ready for the renter. She was Lindsey's all day babysitter and spent four hours slaving in our front yard to get it looking perfect. Lindsey misses her Aunt Kelli and her fun cousins a lot too.

Aren't these the cutest little brothers you've ever seen?
Blakey will always have a special place in my heart because he was born about the same time Elliot and I fell in love. I remember holding him when he was a newborn baby and thinking how great it would be to be his Aunt one day. It really has been great to be his Aunt and I have loved living so close to him for most of his life. Clayton is my little snuggle nephew. As you can see, he gives great snuggles and I'll miss hugging that little smiley, cuddly boy all the time.

After Elliot had driven the moving truck to Utah he flew back so he and I could each drive a car to Utah. I drove up with the cats and Lindsey and he drove up with the dogs. It took us 15 hours to get to Utah (
ahhhhhh!!!) but we finally made it safe and sound! A few days after we got to Utah there was a big snowstorm. It was kinda fun for us since it was the first big storm we have seen in a long time! The dogs love the snow.

But Lindsey is an Arizona baby through and through! She thinks snow is nice to look at but going out and playing in it is just crazy. She will run up to me and say, "Mommy, I so, so, so cold" all the time and then snuggle up under a
blankie with me. Here she is watching a movie and standing next to a space heater her Grandma got out for her. At least it should get warmer here soon!

In the mean time, lots of snuggling to keep warm. The cats need to snuggle sometimes too.

My mom suggested that we get a group picture of everyone living in the house right now. So here is a picture of us getting ready for the picture. We got all 5 people, 4 dogs and 4 cats in the picture. Unfortunately we didn't plan the lighting very well, but after the chaos we went through to get the picture, we weren't about to try to take it again! Here we are getting ready for the picture. If you click on it to make it bigger and look at people's faces it is pretty silly!

And here is the final product. Depicted is my Dad,
Chaz, Rusty, my Mom, Harry, Moo, Keith,
Meuw, Boo, me, Lindsey, Elliot, Shiloh and Thor. And to think a little over a month ago my parents were empty
nesters! We are so grateful that my parents are letting us crash in their basement while we figure out where we are going to live! They are good sports.
So for now we are hunting for a great house to buy and waiting for baby number two to come. I am 9 months pregnant now and ready to pop! We are really excited to be back home in Utah. We already love being around so many friends and family and I think it will just get better and better as we settle in!
