Pregnancy #2

Here is a nice view of baby number two as of today. So far, this pregnancy has been comparable to my pregnancy with Lindsey. I feel A LOT bigger, a lot earlier this time around. I was sure there must be triplets in there until an ultrasound proved me wrong. I had morning sickness my first trimester but now it's gone and I couldn't be happier! I am still very, very tired though which makes managing my two year old and nursing school a challenge sometimes. But, I will be a nursing school grad before I know it and I am looking forward to spending lots of uninterrupted time with Linds before this baby is born! Last week we went to get an ultrasound to determine the baby's gender but the little rascal did not want to cooperate. What a jerk! The ultrasound tech said the baby was in the worst possible position (facing away with legs crossed) and couldn't see it's goods. We are going back next week and hopefully our baby will behave this time around!

Lindsey is a great little person to have around when your not feeling well. If you turn on a Disney princess movie this little darling will sit and snuggle with you through the whole movie. When I'm tired or feeling yucky there is nothing better than cuddling with my sweet Linds. She has definitely watched an unhealthy amount of TV the past month, but she loves it and it is a lifesaver for her prego, tired Mommy!

The Disney princess mania is fun though. When Lindsey doesn't get her way, she will run to a corner, lay on her tummy, bury her face in her hands and pretend to sob like the princesses she sees on TV. It is so darling. Lindsey has gotten really good at singing the songs in her favorite movies. Her favorite right now is Sleeping Beauty. Some mornings Lindsey will let Elliot and I know she's awake by belting out "I know you, I walked with you once upon a dreeeaaammm." It is a great way to wake up!
