My Mom was here this past week! It was loads of fun but there where no pictures taken of my beautiful Momma. Tsk. Tsk. You'll have to take my word for it that she was always the photographer. Anyways, we decided to put a pool in the backyard for her visit. We are living in the lap of luxury my friends.

Here's the end of a little water fight that I won.
Krissy-1, Lindsey-0.

It caused some yelling.

But there was lots of fun too.

Walking on the prickly summer Arizona grass takes some getting used to!

But look at those sexy legs! Whu! Whu!

We also had lots of fun at the zoo. Lindsey got really excited when she saw wolves and foxes. She would tell the wolf, "hi, hi, hi, hi," and giggle in delight. It was adorable! Here is Lindsey riding a merry-go-round for the first time.

This was the concerned expression she had for most of the ride. She didn't cry though...pretty sure she's ready for roller coasters.

Elliot serenading us with Guitar Hero and Thor reading the ads. What cute boys!

I was talking to my Mom about all the gross germs and stuff that are in hospitals and I freaked her out enough that she decided to get the Lignell household a COOL present! (Ready for an infomercial?) For all you Oprah fans out there, this is something Dr. Oz recommends. Introducing my new UV-C Light sanitizing wand. It is a safe and powerful sanitizing system that disinfects and eliminates invisible viruses, germs, dust mites, allergens, mold, and odors. It uses ultraviolet light to penetrate the membranes of viruses, bacteria, mold, and dust mites—attacking their DNA—terminating them and their ability to spread.

You can use it on toilet seats, showers, kitchen utensils, cutting boards, raw foods, telephones, remote controls, light switches, purses, baby pacifiers, toys, living room furniture, mattresses, and pillows...to name a few.
Now, I should clarify that I truly believe being exposed to germs here and there is good for building up your immune system. That said, if the next time you see me I have a little wand and I am waving it around like a mad woman, sanitizing everything in sight, you have my permission to slap some sense into me. I'm planing to mainly use it to de-germ my nursing gear and some of Lindsey's stuff. I'll let you know how I like it. Thanks Mom!
