She's Walking!

Ashley has been taking a step here and there all month, but this morning she took about 6 or 7 steps so we'll call today her first official day of walking. She was chasing her favorite cat, Boo. It was really cute cuz she was saying "Boo, boo, boo" and started toddling towards the little kitty. What a big girl!
We have all been pretty sick with a cold the last week but Ashley has definitely had the worst of it. I didn't know that much snot could come out of something so small! Poor baby. We are all on the mend though and we can't wait to get all better so we can enjoy this beautiful spring weather!

Cheep...cheep...cheep!

We decided to add chickens to the Lignell Farm! They are so stink'in cute. Lindsey is in heaven! She tells us she is the Mommy chicken.

I am really not a bird person...but how can you not love something this cute! And we are looking forward to all the eggs. All these chicks are supposed to be hens.

Lindsey named all the baby chicks herself. Their names are Bambi, Feline, Courtney and Sarah. We really tried to talk her out of naming them Courtney and Sarah because those are her cousin's names. She would not let it go though. So we are hoping Courtney and Sarah's parents think it's cute that she named her chickens after their daughters. She did it because Courtney and Sarah are her best friends! Here's Linds holding little baby chick Sarah.

I am holding Bambi. I like this picture because I look a little bit scared in it. Even though they are cute little chicks, when they peck or flap their wings it still scares me a little! Bambi is flapping her wings in the picture.
Blake holding Courtney.
Clayton holding Feline.
Thor really wants to eat them. We are going to have to work on that.
Ashley is too little for chicks. But she has really taken to this orange box. She pushes it around, sits in it, lays down in it and puts toys in it.
She also loves to stand in it and clap her hands. She is getting so close to walking!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Some sneaky leprechauns dyed our food green again this year.

I think it's pretty funny when they do it, but it grosses Elliot out and Lindsey was a little bit scared that a little man dressed in green was sneaking around the house dyeing things green.

But Ashley is such a good eater that she could care less if her food was green.
It just makes it more fun to get really messy!
Love her smile!
