Happy Five Year Anniversary to Us!

Has it been 5 years already?
Elliot is in Mexico for work so it has been a kinda lonely anniversary. He was so sweet and sent me flowers though! Yay!
Lindsey really loves the flowers too! She likes to give them hugs.
And sometimes she'll just stare at them. It's really pretty cute!
Elliot and I still managed to squeeze some fun in today. We had a nice little video conference and then played some good old Solitaire Showdown on messenger. It was good to talk to him and then beat him so badly at Solitaire Showdown. He he he! I really love my Elliot. He is one in a million and has made all my dreams come true. Thank goodness I get to keep him forever and ever!

Ashley is trying to crawl. I don't blame her. There is way too much going on around here to just stay in one place.
I love this face. Whenever she is watching her sister, a dog, a cat, a goat, ect she get's this curious and confused little face.Lindsey and I decorated her preschool tote bag the other day. Lindsey is so proud of it and shows it to everyone!
Here's some cute video of little Ashley Belle. She is my little ray of sunshine. She gets SOOOO excited to see me! It melts my heart every time. She has always been a pretty "chatty kathy" but lately she's been making these funny noises when she talks. Elliot put it best when he said she sounds like a baby pterodactyl. Enjoy!

Matching Jammies

Awwwww....

DISNEYLAND 2011!!!!!

We took the girls to Disneyland this past weekend. It was perfect! Gorgeous weather, short lines and lots of Disney magic! We went with Elliot's parents, my parents, Warren, Kelli, Blake, Clayton, Courtney and Natalie. Lots of family fun!
Align CenterAshley rock'in her Minnie Mouse outfit. She was an angel all day!
Elliot saved money on food by sucking on packets of salsa instead of buying a gross $10 hamburger. Just teasing. He really just likes to eat salsa.
Linds holding her cute cousin Courtney's hand in line.
Ashley agreed that the lines could be pretty boring. At least they were short!
Wow. Meeting the Disney princesses was all I hoped for and more. Lindsey was adorable and shy, but thought it was an honor to actually meet them.
Look at how pleased she looks!
Group hug with Aurora.
Cinderella
I love this picture!

Belle was my favorite.
Rapunzel and Flynn Rider were Lindsey's favorite.
Rapunzel got a little more that a hug from Lindsey...look at where here hand is!
Ashley's favorite ride was Winnie the Pooh.
We put Miles and my Dad in the front of our Splash Mountain Log. We all got soaked!
Lindsey took a snooze in the stroller. Thank goodness! It would have been a long night if she didn't get a pretty good nap.
Smiley Ashley with her grandparents.
Granny took the little girls on Dumbo.
Lindsey's favorite ride was the merry-go-round. I think she rode it 6 times!
Ashley with her Papa.
Happiest place on earth!
I love the fireworks show over the castle.
Lindsey did not! She is still scared of fireworks, even when Tinkerbell and princess castles are involved!
We also went to Newport Beach! So much fun with my beach babies!
Poor Lindsey just wanted to play in the sand, but her Daddy made her go out in the waves. I hope she finds it in her heart to forgive him one day.
All the dads played in the waves. It was too cold for the rest of us!

Nothing better than digging a big hole in the sand.
Well, sleeping on the beach is a little better.
Uncle Warren was buried in the hole.
Cute little munchkins piled into the hole.
Lindsey didn't want to touch the water. Whenever a big wave would come she wouldn't just scoot back a little bit, she would run all the way back to the towel as fast as she could. Better safe than sorry I guess.
It was a short little trip but we really had a great time!

You Can Never Have Too Many Pictures of Your Babies!

My sister in-law Carol just started working at a new photography studio in Lehi called Camera Shy. The photographers are great with "shy" kids. Lindsey is really, really, really hard to get a good picture of and Carol did a great job getting her to smile and sit for the camera. It was a lot of work though! On the other hand, you just have to look at Ashley and she smiles. Here are all the great pics I got today. I love them! Thanks Carol!
