My Cute Little BFF

Yesterday, when I told Lindsey that I had to go run an errand, she hugged me and said, "No Mommy. You my best friend." I couldn't believe my ears so I said "what?" Then, with sweetest look on her face, she wrapped her arms around my neck and repeated, "My best friend." It was so precious that I started to cry.

I'm excited for our new baby to get here, but sometimes it makes me a little sad to think it won't be just me and my little princess all the time. I hope Linds and I can adjust to sharing each other with this new baby girl!

Elder Hantla is Home!

My little brother Keith came home from his mission in Frankfurt, Germany on Thursday!

I think brand new return missionaries are just too cute!

It was a lot of fun to see him and hear all about his mission.

Here is a picture of baby Lindsey dropping him off at the MTC two years ago.

And here she is picking him up! Keith looks all grown up and both Lindsey and I look much bigger!

We got to hear his homecoming talk too and he did a great job. I can tell he learned a lot on his mission and had a great experience. I'm sure that Germany will be missing him but we sure are glad to have him back!

Lindsey Got Another Pet!

Meet George the goldfish.

Whenever we go to Walmart Lindsey starts chanting, "Fishies! Fishies!" and we have to take her to say hello to Walmart's exotic array of fish. So Elliot and I decided to splurge and get her one.

She was a happy girl!

The night we got him she was so tired, but she just had to keep her new little friend company.

There was lots of princess crying when I finally told her she had to go to bed.

Pets are just lining up to come live with us. Here is a very sweet little stray kitty that comes around everyday to say Hi. If I didn't have way too many cats already, I would snatch this guy up in a heartbeat!
