Our Little Pal Blake

Warren and Blake came over tonight to watch the Suns game. Blake and Lindsey must be Jazz fans because the basketball game tonight didn't hold their interest for too long. So I turned on a movie, got them all comfy with blankets and their own pillows and went to check on the game.

I came back a few minutes later and Blake had scooched over to Lindsey's pillow! These little cousins are just too cute!

Lindsey looks so happy in this picture!
Blake is such a good cousin to have around. I love his adorable little personality and his rascally ways!

GNO!

Betsy's sweet husband planned a lavish, surprise girl's night out for her 30th Birthday! It was so fun to spend an evening with these fun gals. Over the years Kelli, Betsy and I have had some great GNO's but this one tops them all!

We went to Flemings Steakhouse and it was so, so, so tasty! Here is Kelli savoring the flavor of pure goodness.

Boston creme pie for dessert. It made me so very happy!

Thanks for being born and being such a great friend Betsy!

There's No Place Like Home

Last week, we went to visit family and friends in Utah!
Caroline was baptized on the Saturday that we flew out! Our plane was late so we missed most of it, but I hear it was a great baptism. Congrats Carol!

Miles and Claudia had a wonderful family dinner while we were out there. It was pretty chaotic getting all these kids (and adults) to cooperate for this picture. There was a lot of yelling, crying and taunting but I think it turned out really good! We love and miss everyone in this picture so much. (The only family member missing is Phil because he was nice enough to take the picture but we love and miss him too!)

These adorable cousins are always so busy having fun that it is hard to get a good picture of them! I wonder what Lindsey is telling her little pals in this picture... I imagine they're talking about the best way to get into the most trouble.

Here they are playing at the Geurts's pool. Little bathing beauties!
Sarah is so brave and went down the water slide by herself!

Lindsey and I had a lot of much needed Mommy-daughter time on this trip! I loved every minute I got with this little goof ball!

My Mom's dog is so funny. He is definitely the baby of the household and wants to snuggle with my Mom whenever he can.

Lindsey gives him a little competition for Grandma's affections though!

Lindsey is so smiley that she smiles even while she is growling... and it looks just like this! Watch out for those teeth because they are sharp! (Trust me, I know)

Awwww...our three generations pictures.

Sometimes Lindsey doesn't want to get her picture taken. Unfortunately for her, she has a mother that takes TONS of pictures. Sometimes we just have to battle it out.

Poor Lindsey got really sick for about half of our visit. Turns out she had croup, a throat infection and both ears where infected. Poor little lamb. I found these two buddies fast asleep when I got back from the pharmacy one day. So precious!

Lindsey is doing much better now that she is home and she has her kitties to take care of her!

Time to RELAX

After an awful finals week of memorizing all of these...

It's time to take it easy! I only have a week to unravel a whole semester of stress so I better get busy. I kicked off my week of fun with a visit from Camille and Marissa! And they even wore matching outfits for me. Thanks for the visit girls!

Mother's Day 2010

I love being this little sweetheart's Mommy and I love her so much! I couldn't resist dressing us both in pink and white with matching pearl necklaces today. Yep... I am that kind of Mom! I wish I could have spent today with my Mom too. She sent me the sweetest card and I love her and miss her so much. XOXO Mom!
Here's the artwork I was given today. On your left is Elliot's drawing of me and Moo with Lindsey adding her own finishing touches. On your right is Lindsey's little hand print flowers. Kelli watched Linds for us last Friday night and not only was she nice enough to babysit but she made me a timeless Mother's Day gift as well! Kelli, you never cease to amaze me! It's funny that the cheesy little pictures a Mom gets from her kid (and husband) are the gifts she treasures the most!

I love them even more than the loads of candy Elliot gave me...and that's saying something!

Elliot and Warren cooked a delicious dinner for us! It was fun to get all the kids together and the boys did a really good job, which doesn't surprise me because Elliot is a much better cook than me! Here is sweet little Blakey reading to Miss Linds. Blake is such a good example for her and is helping my little fireball learn a little something about sharing and caring!

Elliot did a lot for me today. Besides all the stuff I already mentioned, he also made me an omelet for breakfast, framed a cute picture of Lindsey for me, helped out more than usual with Lindsey and the house work and last, but certainly not least, he gave the dogs a bath! Thanks so much honey.

I don't think the dogs appreciated their bath as much as I did. When they were drying off they didn't exactly look like they were wishing their Mommy a happy Mother's Day. I love these puppies a lot though, even when they're dirty!

And here's the rest of my babies being so adorable and snuggly! And I love them too!

I am one lucky Mom!

So we have 5 vehicles right now...

First came the Bronco II. Elliot has had her since he was 15 1/2.
Then came the Suzuki Forenza whom we affectionately call, "the Su-suckit."

Next was Elliot's bullet bike or as we like to call them at the hospital, "donor bikes."

We got this Blazer last August. His name is James (Jimmy for short).

And we just bought this Ford Explorer. I love it's turquoise accent stripe and sky blue interior.

Now why do we have all these cars/motorcyle? Don't worry... it's all part of an intricate plan that will make all our transportation dreams come true. In a few months we will only own two of these vehicles. Elliot will be driving the Expedition but I'll let you guess which one I'll be driving?

Lindsey's Girlish Figure

Lindsey's cute little round belly just cracks me up sometimes!
