Happy Birthday Lindsey Lou!

We've had a ton of fun celebrating Lindsey's birthday this past week. She had a birthday bash in Arizona AND in Utah. She's a lucky girl and both were super fun! Her actual B-day was the 26th and we thought it would be fun for her to see Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. She slept through most of the movie but I'm sure she enjoyed what she saw. Here are some festive cupcakes for the AZ fiesta. Lindsey partying with Uncle Warren and baby cousin Clayton. I think she is trying to steal his binki. Sheena and pink spoons make one happy birthday girl! The Birthday CrownThe Birthday Ensemble
I put a pink drop cloth, a birthday cake and Lindsey together on the floor. I thought it would result in a little bit of cake carnage. She is too much of a princess though. She dipped one hand in the frosting and decided she didn't want to get dirty. Big disappointment...but she still looked cute doing it! We even called in the boys to show her how it's done.

Here is a nice little group picture. Lindsey sure was spoiled by all our friends! Thanks guys!

But there was still more fun to be had in Utah. Grandma organized a great party for the Lindster and she was spoiled with presents again! Here she is eyeing the prezzies...Opening them...
...and so pleased with all her gifts!
Here are her baby girl cousins, Sarah and Hayden. Lindsey is crying in this pic but as Stacey pointed out, "it's her party and she'll cry if she wants to!"
Cute Brooke with the pinata
That's right... I smashed the pinata in half with my killer swing. I really enjoy the look of astonishment on every one's face in this action shot! If you have never had the pleasure of hearing the Lignell clan sing Happy Birthday get ready for a real treat. It really scared Lindsey.

A Happy Fathers Day!

Lindsey and I had a lot of fun spoiling the best Dad in the world yesterday! He makes us so happy and we love him so much! We made Elliot breakfast in bed and had the Warren Lignell's over for a Father's Day steak dinner! Yum yum!
We gave Elliot Lindsey's 1 year old pictures...

And a statue of his favorite child, Harry...
At least we won't have to get him stuffed when he dies now.
And here is the card we gave him. Very appropriate since Elliot is known to show a little sugar crack every now and again.
Lindsey's B-day party was on Saturday. (more pics to come of course)
We like to recycle around here.
Lindsey would like to dedicate this adorable video of her with her new walker/stroller to her inspiration, her Daddy. We love you Elliot!

Hey Harry old buddy old pal!

When we tell people Harry is babysitting Lindsey I don't know why they don't believe us.

P.S.- Laser pointer + 2 dogs + 2cats + baby= hours of fun. My goal is to get all five of them chasing it at once.

It's a dog's life

Saturday we loaded up the baby and the doggies and went to Lake Pleasant with Warren, Blake and their dog, Bear. Our dogs love the water and it makes going to the lake an extra fun way to cool off!

Granny and Papa time!

Elliot's parents came to visit and to meet cute baby Clayton! It was a weekend full of Dr. Mario, the game Apples (Claudia and I are unbeatable even when there's an alarming amount of cheating going on) and yummy food. Thanks for coming guys!

Unfortunately, this is the Lindsey they got to see the most. Her top two teeth are coming and she is NOT a happy camper.

And as a result, this is the Krissy Rissy (or Pissy Rissy as Elliot would say) that my sweet in-laws got to see the most. Poor Papa and Granny!
But even when she's cranky I can't get enough of this little girl! Hopefully everyone thinks the same thing about me...I'm not as cute tho so I might be in trouble!

Kids do the darndest things...parents too I guess!

Lindsey thinks it is hilarious when I pretend to slap myself. Pretty strange. Now, you might be wondering how I came up with the idea to slap myself to see what she would do. My Mom gave me the idea. Apparently when I was a baby I thought it was really funny when my Mom would slap herself too! Poor Lindsey is on track to be a weirdo just like her Mommy!
