More Baby Pics!

One really great perk of working at my OBGYN's office is I can get ultrasounds every couple of weeks for free! I have always thought that the 3D images of the babies are pretty freaky looking, but I decided to give it a try today! So here is baby Linds in 3D!She did not cooperate for most of her photo shoot. She was snuggled up against my placenta most of the time. This picture is the perfect example...that blob in front of her mouth is my placenta...yum.
Here she is sleeping...and looking very smooshed. I did eat a pretty big lunch.

This picture is why Elliot and I will be calling her fatty from now on. I think she is smirking at the camera. What a rascal! I'll admit these pictures are interesting...but 3D ultrasounds still look a little too freaky for me to really think they are cute! I'm sure I'll think the real deal is cute once she arrives though!

Why I love Elliot Turbo Lignell

Elliot's birthday was on the 18th and here is a peek at the many reasons why I love him so much...

He is the best video game player I know
He enjoys the outdoors
He is a great kisser
He is a dare devil
When I'm sad, he dresses the cat up like a rooster to make me laugh.
He can eat alarmingly large amounts of salsa in one sitting
He is so cute when he sleeps
He lets me bury him in the sand and take pictures
He gives the best hugsHe's so sassy!
He loves ducks
He's a dreamer
And he's soooo dreamy!
The list could go on and on! I am so lucky to be married to such an amazing man!

A note about allergies, rocking chairs and Wii.

As many of you know, I have awful allergies in Arizona half the year. Since I am with child, I can't take my good allergy medicine and I have resorted to over the counter meds (hah!), not going outside and even eating excessive amounts of yogurt cuz I heard it helps with allergies. This is a picture of my latest attempt to get rid of the sniffles. It is a netty pot. You fill the thing up with warm salt water, put the spout in one of your nostrils, lean over a sink and tip the pot so the water flows in one nostril and out the other. Good times...good times.
This is the first time I sat in my new rocking chair! I am practicing my soothing rocking skills on Moo.

My Mom came to visit this past week! It was so fun to see her and have a chick flick/shopping buddy! She bought a Wii while she was here and we all had a lot of fun using it! Here are some good action shots.

Catching Up!!!

I finally got around to updating this blog! We have been a busy couple and it is exhausting growing a baby! I am still feeling wonderful tho and trying to enjoy the more comfortable months of pregnancy while I can! I am so excited for this little rascal to get here! She is kicking a lot and getting really big. Sometimes I wonder how I can get any bigger...but I know I will! Other big news is Elliot got another promotion! Yay! I am so proud of him and the hard work he does. I am a very, very lucky girl to have him! Here are a few photos of fun things we've done in the past month.

First, my little nephew Blake turned 2 and had a fun Elmo birthday party! This is the birthday boy and his cute mama.Miles, Claudia and Ethan drove down from Utah for the event. It was great to see them! I love this picture of Ethan because when I asked him to smile big, this is what I got! So funny!
Josh and Katie vanRij came to visit Arizona too! I was so excited to see my Katie! Unfortunately, I didn't take very many pics though and this picture of us doing a puzzle is all I have! We are a crazy bunch huh! Thanks for coming to visit us guys!
I have stolen a tradition from my pal Heidi Maxfield. Every St. Patrick's Day she dyes her food green and I decided to give it a try. The milk and mashed potatoes turned a very nice shade of green but the salmon turned blue when I cooked it. Hmmm...I'll have to try again next year! Poor Elliot!
A couple of days ago Elliot bought us a NEW KING SIZE, PILLOW TOP, SEALY POSTUREPEDIC MATTRESS! I love my husband so much! He truely knows the way to a pregnant womans heart...a good nights sleep! Isn't he so cute!
Sweet little Moo loves the bed too!
